INDUSTRIALISATION AND ITS PROFIT (SM42)

The world has been improving since the 18th century in the field of industrialisation and people has developed new opinion about the world. The industrialisation has improvement by new theories implemented by the people like Taylor who changed the whole system of working in the industry to improve the productivity rate of the organisation.

Section 1
After viewing the video, the following key idea comes out
1.      The manpower is an important factor for the growth of the productivity for an organisation.
2.      Division of manpower is need management skill where the manager has to allocate the employee the task as per his desire and skill.
3.      Organisation has to update the pattern of work such as an automobile company has had all the machinery equipment which became the reason for large production.
4.      Taylor has brought this point of view where the handling the workload by an employee represent the efficiency of company.

        In the opinion of Janoski & Lepadatu (2014), the taylorism and fordism is implemented to break the old system of productivity, rules of the organisation for the purpose of reformation. Reformation here means dividing the task, department and employee with the purpose of increasing the productivity, giving the flexibility to the employee to handle the work more efficiently.  The high wages and high productivity was the principle of Taylor but the video has also shows that employee were leaving the company soon because of the work pressure. The principle adopted by the companies is not that different   Thus, the workload becomes more on employee and it affects their working efficiency. In the opinion of Walker & Kim (2015), the strategies implemented by the organisation nowadays, especially in America and Europe, to grow their productivity results more pressure on employee. The frustration level of employee is increasing and affecting the relation between employee and production department. Taylorism of current situation is not going to work for long run and hence it is going to affect the productivity of the American, European and Australian companies.

The Talent Plus is the Australian company which is HR consulting firm. The objective of organisation is to work in non-traditional way when it is resourcing the candidate to the company.

The call centre has the script for the employee that helps in the conversation with the client. The way to design the script has the approach of taylorism. Organisation has the system to give specific script to employee as per their customer. As Taylor has introduced the pattern of work, the scripting is a way to implement the work and achieve organisation target. Veritas Recruitment is a company that takes things differently and rather follows the old ideology of taylorism, they followed the non-traditional way and set up the example of company with nice culture.
The video shown has described the need of systematic way to do the work and achieve the target of productivity. Some of the company has their own ideology rather following the taylor’s theory. The Australian telecom company amaysim Australia has established itself and it has own strategy for business process.
In the opinion of Archibugi (2017), most of the company, as mentioned in the context, has modified their way to accelerate the productivity. The Taylor theory in some way has been applied by companies if we analyse their procedure carefully. Conclusively, the theory should be changed with the changing time and it would be helpful for organisation itself.

1.      Linear programming word is helpful to analyse the data and give the exact value.

Suppose City of Melbourne is launching product in the Indian market and Australian market then the cost and profit calculation can be done by Linear programming word.

The best technique to calculate the cost of the product and how much profit will be there after launching the product to the market is Linear programming word. This method needs just the knowledge of linear programming.
